West Cheshire Museums’ care for an amazing money collection containing coins, jettons and paper money. It not only charts the history of people’s interaction with wealth, but documents political issues, cultural attachments and even fashion.

This lecture examines how money was made, how it was used by those who created it, and what it meant to the people who owned it, with highlights from the collection.
